JMW Motorsport Unveils 2025 ELMS Driver Lineup — A Fusion of Proven Talent and Legendary Experience
London, England (MARCH 6, 2025) As the 2025 European Le Mans Series (ELMS) season approaches, JMW Motorsport is thrilled to reveal a formidable driver lineup poised to make a lasting impact on the championship.
Following an impressive debut with the team in the final two rounds of 2024, Scott Noble and Jason Hart return to JMW Motorsport for a full-season campaign, ready to build on their momentum and chase top honors.
Joining them is a name that needs no introduction in endurance racing—Gianmaria "Gimmi" Bruni. The Italian ace makes an emotional homecoming to JMW, the team where he first made his mark from 2007 to 2009. A multiple-time Le Mans and FIA WEC champion, Bruni brings a wealth of experience and an undeniable hunger for victory.
JMW Motorsport remains an enduring force in the ELMS, the only team to have contested every race since the series' inception. With the transition to LMGT3 and the Ferrari 296 GT3 in 2024, the team is determined to harness its legacy and push forward into an electrifying new era.
As the countdown to Barcelona in April begins, JMW Motorsport stands ready. With Noble, Hart, and Bruni at the helm, the team is set to deliver the fierce, competitive performances that have defined its history. The team is ready to write the next chapter—one fueled by passion, precision, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.
The team and drivers are eagerly awaiting the start of the 2025 season.
Jim McWhirter, Team Principal: “We are thrilled to welcome Scott and Jason back to the team. Both drivers performed brilliantly at the final two rounds of the last season. They’re both really strong competitors. It is great to have the continuity of returning drivers, building on last season and continuing the development of the car.
“We’re also super excited to welcome Gimmi back to the team. With his speed and such a wealth of experience, he will be a very strong addition to the team. We’re looking forward to another year with the European Le Mans Series.”
Gimmi (Gianmaria) Bruni, Driver: “I’m super happy. For me it was my first motor racing family. I raced with JMW Motorsport in my early sportscar days, I grew up with them, so I have a lot of history with Jim, Valerie and with all the team. I’m really looking forward to getting back with them all, and I’m very happy that we get this opportunity to get back together in the ELMS, something we have done together, and won together in the past. I’m looking forward to working with my team mates. I can’t wait to jump in the GT car again, it’s been a little while. It’s amazing we get this opportunity to work together again.”
Scott Noble, Driver: "Stepping into ELMS full-time with JMW Motorsport is an incredible opportunity, and I couldn’t be more excited to take on the 2025 season with Jason, Gimmi, and the entire team. The experience we gained in the final rounds of 2024 was invaluable, and I know we’re coming into this year stronger and more prepared. JMW has a rich history in endurance racing, and to be part of that alongside a legend like Gimmi and a teammate I trust in Jason, is an honor. I can’t wait to get behind the wheel of the Ferrari 296 LMGT3 and get to work."
Jason Hart, Driver: “I am beyond happy to be doing ELMS for the 2025 season with Scott, Gimmi and JMW. This series has an excellent format and I really enjoyed the few races we did with them in 2024. We are off to our first test of 2025 this weekend and I am certainly looking forward to getting back in the Ferrari 296 LMGT3!!!.”
The ELMS series opener will take place in Barcelona, Spain on April 6, 2025. The first of six rounds for the 2025 season.
